'Eugenia Victoria' 3-STARS .. garden and pool aera

A look at the garden of the 3-STARS hotel "Eugenia Victoria" in the "Playa del Ingles" in Gran Canaria.
The sandy beach is easily to reach from "Eugenia Victoria" by foot in about 15-20 minutes, the hotel is not near the sea.
The "Eugenia Victoria" is not one of the exclusive hotels and is therefore much cheaper, the garden and pool area very nicely presented. The entrance to the reception area and restaurant are appealing.

I had for only 6 € as an external guest in a morning an "All You Can Eat" to see how well the breakfast at the "Eugenia Victoria" is, and it is really OK for this price.
"Eugenia Victoria" has two fitnesscenters: one is at the pools and a second fitnesscenter is underground in a different area near the street.

'Salamanca Bridge Cafe' in 'Playa del Ingles'

The Salamanca Bridge Cafe is a small snack bar which is part of the apartment-complex of Salamanca.

There you can buy drinks such as coffee, tea, Coke, wine, beer, ... and foods such as pizza, chicken, sausages, salads, sandwiches, ... and all this for reasonable prices. Also they have menues: half a chicken with potatoes, salad and a Coke costs 5 €.

Also tourists are there to watch football on TV, and to get Internet-access with their laptops and netbooks by W-LAN. To get access to Internert, you have to buy a meal-coupon for 1€.

All RIU Hotels in 'Playa del Ingles' and Maspalomas

The RIU Hotel - Number C on the map - is between Maspalomas and "Playa del Ingles". Here at the RIU-Hotel begins a main street in the "Playa del Ingles" called "Avenida de Tirajana". On their walk at the beach from the lighthouse of Maspalomas to "Playa del Ingles" the tourists see always a white building from distance: it is this RIU-Hotel.
Many retirees mostly from England, Holland, Germany and Scandinavia booked here for their holidays. They fly to the Canary islands because often in winter is below zero degrees in their own countries in Europe. Here on christmas time till April the temperature is mostly 20 degrees and very improtant for elderly guests: it is not humid.


The RIU - Numcer C on the map - has a nice swimmingpool aera. From this pool you see the "Dunes of Maspalomas" that are only some hundret meters far away. There is a pedestrian way to the promenade and from there tourists walk on the promenade to the "Playa del Ingles" or over the "Dunes of Maspalomas" to the lighthouse.  http://paracute-grancanaria-en.blogspot.de/ Of course at the RIU is a bus station to drive in all durections, such as Maspalomas, "Playa del Ingles" and "San Augustin and the AIRPORT, and from there to the north of the island the mail-town and capital "Las Palmas de Gran Canaria".
